About Our Program
We participate in the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs and follow all USDA nutritional standards and federal requirements for healthy meals. Our current Menu is in on the main page of our website and on our School App.
Free Meals for All
We are Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school which means that all students regardless of income can receive breakfast and lunch at no charge. For more information about Community Eligibility Provision, check out our flyer below:

Family Income Survey
This information helps us continue to offer free meals for all and helps us qualify for grants and state funding to serve our students. It can also help qualify students for fee waivers and other supports as needed. Access the survey here:
What's For Lunch?

The Hood Canal School District lunch program provides for the health and well-being of students by providing nutritious meals. All lunches include the main entree, fresh vegetable bar, fruit and two milk choices.
We offer Salad Bar every day.

This is a grab'n go meal eaten in the student's classroom at the beginning of the school day. Breakfast includes the main entree, fruit, 100% juice and two milk choices.

At Hood Canal School District, our Child Nutrition Team is dedicated to providing healthy, balanced, and delicious meals to our students every day. They also like to have a little fun along the way and surprise our students on special days. Our committed staff works tirelessly to ensure that all students receive nutritious breakfasts and lunches that support their learning and growth. We prioritize fresh ingredients and adhere to dietary guidelines to meet the diverse needs of our student community. With a focus on wellness and nourishment, our team strives to create a positive dining experience that fuels both bodies and minds.

The letter must contain the complainant's name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
