You're Invited to Help Empower a New Era of Education at Hood Canal School!
Everyone committed to providing the richest possible environment for the children of Hood Canal School is invited to join us. Our partners range from government entities like the Skokomish and Squaxin Tribes to the Hood Canal School and the Washington State Department of Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO). We also welcome like-minded businesses and individuals as partners, including local artists like Toma Villa and companies like Droll Landscaping and SmartMemes.
Together, we have completed dozens of projects. HCEF helped secure the state grant for the new track and field renovation and funds a variety of educational field trips, school plays, library equipment, art supplies, learning technology, accelerated reader incentives, and books - just to name a few!

Show Students You Care!
We are always looking for volunteers to work side by side with our teachers in the classroom to help our students improve their math and reading skills. Volunteers also assist with our summer school program, organize fundraising events, and attend monthly meetings. If you have a special interest and would like to see how you can become involved at the school, contact us, and we will be happy to accommodate you!

Hood Canal Education Foundation
The mission of the Hood Canal Education Foundation (HCEF) is to seek and develop new and diverse sources of funding to support the educational needs and goals of the Hood Canal School District that are not, or cannot be, supported by traditional funding sources.
Our membership is made up of community leaders, educators, and passionate individuals committed to the success of the school district in meeting the educational, cultural, and artistic needs of the students. All donations to this 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation support programs and projects beyond what is generated through local tax revenues.
HCEF began in 2009 by parents and community members to address the unmet needs of the Hood Canal School. The staff of Hood Canal School guides the selection of the projects. 95% of the proceeds raised are used to fund Hood Canal School projects.
