If you live outside the Hood Canal School District boundaries and want your child to attend Hood Canal School, you will need to complete a Choice Transfer request. You can access the Choice Transfer Portal at the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) through the following link: Choice Transfer Portal

• Resident School District: The district where you and your child live.

• Nonresident School District: The district you want your child to attend (Hood Canal).

Once both the Resident and Nonresident school districts approve the Choice Transfer request, it is valid for one school year and needs to be renewed annually.
