Temporary Bus Route Changes Effective Mon. Sept. 23, 2024
Changes to Routes 207, 214 and 206 start on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024. As you may or may not know, our wonderful Route 207 bus driver, Dave, has decided it was time to retire. The timing of his retirement was somewhat unexpected. We’ve moved quickly and reached out to a couple applicants to replace Dave, but it could take a week or two to complete the hiring and training process (hopefully, less).
During this transition, we’re asking for your help. Starting on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024:
Students from the Lake Cushman area will temporary be riding Bus 214 and we need families to drop off and pick up their children at the Cushman Maintenance Office.
Students at the Tribal Center and Head Start stops will begin riding Bus 206.
Some pick up and drop-off times for students on Route 214 will also change temporarily.
