Reading just got more exciting at Hood Canal School with the launch of our brand-new Anywhere Library program! In collaboration with the Timberland Regional Library (TRL), this initiative aims to boost student reading by bringing the library directly to our school.
Today, TRL librarian Joe Alessi kicked off the program, visiting our school to deliver books students had checked out online, collect any returns, and offer a variety of books and audiobooks for students to check out on the spot. It was heartwarming to see our students eagerly exploring the selections and borrowing books for the first time.
The TRL Book Van will visit us on the 2nd Tuesday and the 4th Thursday of every month.
