The location and time for our school board meeting for Thursday, July 25 has changed. The meeting will now start at 3:15PM at the Alderbrook Golf and County Club (330 E Country Club Drive East, Union, WA 98592, USA) immediately following the Board Retreat. You can also attend the meeting via Zoom and the meeting will be recorded and posted. We hope you will be able to join us in-person or online!
Our kids had an amazing day on their whale watching field trip and are on their way back. The bus should arrive around 4pm.
This investigation is called, "How could we save a mountain town from falling rocks?" Young learners our Flex Your Skills class learned about the force of push and pull in through this real-life application.

Students in our summer school art program with Mr. Max have been applying their new painting skills on a beautiful mural wrapping one of our school storage sheds and creating other art like a fantastic piece using multiple layers of paint and ferns. In our summer school STEAM class, students are applying engineering and design concepts as they create their own full scale vehicles and play structures. They constructed bridges to see whose bridge will hold the most weight and then built these lifesize projects that, as you can see, the kids loved using and playing with after they made them.
